Status Pages
Share project progress with clients through a public, optional PIN-protected status page.
Overview
Status Pages give clients a clear view of project progress without exposing internal notes, team discussion, or private planning.
They are useful for multi-phase productions where clients repeatedly ask what is done, what is next, and when the next delivery is expected.
Public route
The public Status Page URL uses the project access token route: https://{your-subdomain}.exportlab.io/p/{accessToken}
You can send the link directly to clients or invite subscribers from the project status page tools.
Enable a Status Page
Open the project
Go to Projects and open the project that should have a client-facing status view.
Open Status Page
Use the Status Page entry in the project detail view.
Enable the page
Enable the page, then configure phases, progress, ETA, and visibility settings.
Share access
Copy the /p/{accessToken} link or invite subscribers by email.
What clients see
- Project title and current phase.
- Progress and ETA when enabled.
- Status updates written for the client.
- Relevant deliverables without internal project notes.
- PIN prompt when the Status Page is protected.
Updates and notifications
Status updates can move the current phase, update progress, adjust ETA, and notify subscribers.
Use updates for client-facing milestones, not internal task tracking.
Common issues
- Client cannot open the page: confirm the project Status Page is enabled and the /p/{accessToken} link is current.
- PIN is rejected: check the configured 4-digit PIN in the Status Page settings.
- Client did not receive an email: verify the subscriber address and notification settings.
