Overview

Asset Collections combine shared files with a required questionnaire.

Recipients fill out your form first, then browse or download the assets.

Create a collection

Start a new collection

Go to Asset Collections and click New Collection.

Add files

Upload any asset type (images, PDFs, fonts, videos, ZIPs).

Build the questionnaire

Add questions manually or import a template.

Share the link

Each collection gets a public access link immediately.

Questionnaire basics

Each question defines what you need to collect before access is granted.

  • Question text — what you ask.
  • Type — how the answer is captured.
  • Required — whether it must be filled in.

Recipient opens the link

They see your questionnaire first.

Form submission

Answers are saved with a timestamp.

Asset access

Files are available for browsing or download.

Viewing submissions

Use the Submissions tab in the collection editor to review all answers.

Common issues

  • Import fails with invalid type: check the questionType value.
  • Select fields show no options: make sure options are provided.
  • File upload question fails: include fileConfig with allowed types and limits.
