Overview
Face Recognition indexes the images in your gallery so users can see exactly which photos they appear in.
It is ideal for events, weddings, and any gallery where participants have access.
Most people only want to view and download their own photos. In large, poorly organized galleries, that is difficult and time-consuming.
The primary benefit is a better user experience for participants.
We recommend presenting this feature to every client and passing the costs along, since you do not benefit from it directly.

Privacy
The search is stored temporarily. You can delete indexed data at any time inside the gallery, so everything stays under your control.
Smart Discovery
When images are indexed for Face Recognition, they are also indexed for Smart Discovery. You can disable the Smart Discovery panel in the gallery settings if you do not want to use it. But honestly, why would you?
How to use it
Follow these steps to activate Face Recognition and let participants find their photos quickly.
Enable indexing
Turn on indexing during gallery upload or later in Edit Gallery.
Capture a face photo
In the gallery, the user uploads a face photo or uses the built-in camera to take one.
Review matches
They immediately see all images they appear in, sorted to the top.
