Certified Signature

Ensure signatures are verified and compliant.

Written by Exportlab · Updated March 2026

Overview

Certified Signature captures a signed contract with a verifiable timestamp and identity data.

This provides a reliable audit trail for agreements signed inside Exportlab.

How it works

1

Client receives the contract

The recipient opens the secure contract link and reviews the terms.

2

Signature captured

The client signs digitally, and the signature is timestamped.

3

Record stored

The signed contract is stored in your account and marked Fully Executed.

What gets stored

  • Signed document with timestamp.
  • Signer identity data captured during the signing flow.
  • Status history for audit purposes.

Notes

  • Signatures are linked to the contract record automatically.
  • The signed contract remains accessible from the project timeline.
