Swipe Mode
Swipe left or right to decide what goes public.
Overview
Swipe Mode is a fast alternative for marking images as public or private, inspired by familiar swipe interfaces.
Instead of checkboxes, menus, or lists, it uses a visual, playful flow: view image → swipe → next decision.
Especially in large galleries, a tedious selection becomes fluid and intuitive.
Why this matters
In reality, couples and clients already review each image one by one. Swipe Mode combines that moment with the decision.
Instead: I see an image and immediately know whether it can be public.
This saves time, reduces mental load, and makes the selection feel pleasant instead of exhausting.
- No extra click on “Select.”
- No thinking, “I’ll do it later.”
- No complicated interface.
How it works
Activation
When Collaboration Mode is active, the client can switch to Swipe Mode at any time.
Swipe selection
Images appear one by one in full size. Swipe right to make an image public, swipe left to keep it private. Each decision is saved instantly as you move to the next image.
Publish the gallery
After the selection, the gallery is published. The public link stays the same, updates appear immediately, and images can be adjusted at any time.
Typical use cases
- Wedding couples deciding together in a quick, intuitive flow.
- Companies that need to publish an event gallery fast.
- Large galleries where classic selection methods are too slow.
In short
Swipe Mode turns a mandatory task into a fast, almost playful experience.
